Searched keywords must be at least 4 characters long (server restriction). However, if you start a search on words of 3 letters, a star is automatically added at the end to allow you to obtain pertinent results. This allow you to make a search on "psp" (psp*) or "gta" (gta*) for example.
You can use quotes (") to search expressions, a star (*) as a joker for partial searches, preced terms which must be present in the results with à plus sign (+) and preced those which must not be present in the results with a minus sign (-).
A few examples based on this model:
- a research on mario kart will return the news containing the word "mario" or the word "kart"
- a research on "mario kart" will return the news containing the expression "mario kart"
- a research on +mario +kart will return the news containing the words "mario" and "kart" whatever their positions
- a research on +mario -kart will return the news containing the word "mario" and not containing the word "kart"
- a research on bomber* will return the news containing one word starting with "bomber", like "bomberman" for example
You may notice that selecting "Search for all terms" is equivalent to place one plus sign (+) in front of each term.
